Biographical information
Nathan Heffel is the Senior Host for All Things Considered on CPR News. He also hosts Real Talk with Denver 7 and CPR News on Denver 7.Nathan is also a member of the Denver Press Club board of directors, and a former member of the Lawrence University Alumni Association board of directors. He’s been featured on national and international radio shows including PRI’s The Takeaway, NPR’s Morning Edition, Weekend Edition, All Things Considered, Here and Now, and ABC’s Victoria Statewide Drive. In print, The Denver Post, U.S. News and World Report and numerous other local newspapers around Colorado. His work in journalism has been recognized by the Associated Press, the Colorado Broadcasters Association, the Society of Professional Journalists and Public Radio News Directors Incorporated. Before returning to CPR News he was the mid-day editor for NPR’s All Things Considered based in Washington D.C.
