McKenna Harford (she/her) has been reporting in Colorado for over five years and currently covers the Douglas County School District and the town of Castle Rock. She particularly enjoys reporting on education, politics and local government, as well as the ways they intersect. Previously, Harford reported on Grand County and the towns of Winter Park, Fraser, Granby, Grand Lake and Kremmling for the Sky-Hi News. She is a proud Jayhawk and University of Kansas alum. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, spending time with her dog and trying new restaurants in the Denver metro area.
