Biographical information

Kevin Mahmalji is the owner and managing editor of The Florence Reporter, an independent print newspaper based in Fremont County, Colorado. In this position, Kevin manages all aspects of the newspaper, including reviewing and editing articles, planning and approving assignments for writers, soliciting advertising partners and annual subscriptions, design and formatting, newspaper distribution, and more.

In addition to his role with The Florence Reporter, Kevin is the founder and president of Two Rivers Consulting, which provides professional services ranging from strategic communications, end-to-end digital marketing, public relations, government affairs and community engagement. Prior to starting The Florence Reporter and Two River Consulting, Kevin served as the director of engagement for a national nonprofit organization where he advised more than 160 affiliate organizations around the country on strategic planning, citizen lobbying efforts, fundraising, ballot initiatives, strategic communications and community engagement.
