David is a team editor at The Colorado Sun. Most recently, David was the editor at The Aspen Times from 2017 to 2022, and before that spent 17 years at The Denver Post, first working in the sports department then as a deputy city editor. Before The Denver Post, David was at the Loveland Reporter-Herald from 1995-2000 as the sports editor. He worked at the Daily Oklahoman in high school and college before moving to Colorado. College degrees including bachelor’s from University of Oklahoma, class of 1991 and an associates degree from St. Gregory’s College, 1987. He lives in Salida with his wife, who he met at the Daily Oklahoman, and they have two grown children.
