Rick is a member of the Kiowa and Cherokee tribes of Oklahoma and is currently CO-Executive Director of the Denver Indian Center, Inc. Living in Colorado since 1984 and joining the Denver Indian Center in 2015, Rick has served as Executive Director since December of 2017. Prior to joining the Denver Indian Center, Inc., Rick has worked in Indian Country for the past 40+ years including positions as the National Director of Tribal Relations with the University of Phoenix, Sr. Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations with the American Indian College Fund, and Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Originally from Oklahoma, Rick is married with 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren.
