Biographical information
I am the co-founder of the Parasol Patrol. I’m a Queer, BIPOC woman currently living in Boulder County but work everywhere in the state. We shield children and young people from protesters at LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC events. We’ve stood up to the Proud Boys, Patriot Front, the Blood Tribe and Westboro Baptist Church to name a few. We use umbrellas as a visual barrier to prevent kids and their families from the signs and angry faces and have noise cancelling ear protection to muffle vitriolic hate speech usually shouted through bull horns. We started in Denver in 2019 but sadly, have had to go national. I have done public speaking and education across the country and have done several interviews on the local, national and international stage including all major networks, and several prominent programs like Good Morning America. Please feel free to google me or the Parasol Patrol for those links.Areas of experience
