Biographical information

Art Goodtimes is a retired San Miguel County Commissioner (Green Party: 1996-2016), co-founder of local environmental group the Sheep Mountain Alliance, monthly columnist for the Four Corners Free Press and the Colorado Times Recorder, Telluride Institute director of Talking Gourds Poetry Project, poetry editor of Fungi Magazine and the on-line Sage Green Journal, poet- in-residence at Telluride Mushroom Festival (1981-present), and Colorado’s Western Slope Poet Laureate (2011-2013). His most recent books are, Dancing on Edge: The McRedeye Poems (Lithic Press, 2019), Looking South to Lone Cone (Western Eye Press, Sedona, 2013), and As If the World Really Mattered (La Alameda Press, Albuquerque, 2007).
